Monthly Tuition

1 class per week:

40 minutes - $45        50 minutes - $50        60 minutes - $60

2 classes per week  $80-$90

3 classes per week  $110

4 classes per week  $130

Tuition is due the 1st of the month by cash, check or credit based on the length of one class per week or an individuals total number of classes per week. Credit payments include a 3% convenience fee. A monthly invoice can be emailed upon request if paying by credit. Tuition is non-refundable.

A $15 late fee is applied to tuition paid after the 15th of the month. If tuition is 45 days past due participation will be placed on hold until tuition is brought up to date.

A $10 discount is applied to the tuition of each additional dependent in the household.

A full season registration (September 9 - May 28) will receive a 5% discount. The deadline is October 1.

There is a one time, non-refundable registration fee of $25 per family. The fee is waived if dance wear is purchased at Ballet Academy.

Dress Code 

Dance wear can be purchased at the academy. Donations permitting, gently used ballet slippers, jazz and tap shoes are available at no cost.

  • Hair should be secured in a ballet bun, twist, or braid
  • Ballet skirts are optional
  • Adults may wear work-out clothes

 Jazz and Tap

  • Jazz: black leather jazz shoes

Street shoes, food and gum are not permitted on the dance floor. Before the start of each class, participants should use the restroom. Parents are asked to wait in the lobby so participants can give their undivided attention to the instructor. After class, participants waiting for their parent or guardian should do so inside the academy. Please be prompt dropping off and picking up your child. You're invited to watch class January 27-30.

Attendance is necessary to improve individually and for group choreography to be at its best.   Please communicate all absences prior to the missed class. Participants are encouraged to make-up all missed classes (personal, holiday, or weather related) within the current season. Excessive absences during choreography (February through May) may result in dismissal from choreography.

The academy will be closed the following holidays: November 27-30 (Thanksgiving), December 22-January 4 (Christmas and New Year), January 20 (MLK Day), February 17 (Presidents’ Day) and May 25 (Memorial Day).

When bad weather occurs, the academy closes if Sandusky county is under a Level 2 snow emergency.

Weekly pre-k, youth and teen participants will be a part of the end of season performance on June 13.
